Itchy 'n Scratchy Natural Dog Skincare Range

Itchy 'n Scratchy Dog Soap Bar

Why Does My Dog Itch?

Many dogs suffer from itchy skin caused by skin allergies. Itchy skin can be caused by anything from household cleaning products to pollen from grass and flea bites.

When a flea bites a dog’s skin, it leaves behind an antigen in the saliva which can trigger severe irritation in some dogs, causing them to scratch. This scratching causes inflammation and abrasions to the skin, encouraging other forms of bacterial or fungal infection to grow, making the problem even worse.

Another cause of itchy skin is using a shampoo that is too acidic for your dog’s skin. Dogs have a higher natural pH on their skin and require a special shampoo. This is where New Zealand Native Oils Ltd comes in.

The Itchy and Scratchy dog soap bar is formulated especially to help calm your dog’s irritated skin, with the added benefits of Manuka and Kanuka essential oils and hydrosols to help combat bacterial and fungal infections. It also contains essential oils which deter fleas and leaves your dog smelling great with a shiny coat and moisturised skin.

Snoot 'n Boot Balm

Your dog’s paws can take quite a bit of abuse throughout a normal day. They act as a cushion for walking and protection against extreme weather elements, including heat and cold, but they can also become damaged, causing the padding to become dry and cracked and break down.

A pea-sized amount of Snoot 'n Boot will do wonders for dry sore snouts brought about by hot or cold weather. Make sure you rub it in really well because your little guy will be throwing that big tongue up to his nose to try and lick everything off.

Snoot 'n Boot does not contain any essential oils as they can be very strong, and as we all know, your dog’s snout is very sensitive. Snoot 'n Boot only contains gentle, soothing and healing oils perfect for a sore snout.

Here is a list of the ingredients in Snoot 'n Boot and an explanation of how these can help heal and protect both your dog’s snout and paws. In fact this balm is great for any minor scraps or irritations on your dog’s skin it is made with healing, organic, natural and moisturising oils perfect for your dog, not to mention yourself.
